My beautiful friend, Sarah, and I spent a weekend afternoon walking through her Denver neighborhood in the Highlands. I’m so lucky to call this lady a friend. When I moved to Colorado and started my portrait photography business out of Denver, Sarah was someone I knew from the midwest and she immediately welcomed me to the Rockies with open arms. Since then we’ve created so many memories adventuring around this great state and beyond; along with building a solid sisterhood between us. Sarah has always welcomed my constant photo taking with open arms and embraced any creative direction that I’ve given her (she’s found herself in front of my lens more times than she probably prefers). On this sunny Sunday, we worked with the direct sunlight, Highland brick walls and my new kaleidoscope filter to create some minimalist, woman centered portraits.
